Tribute to LCPL Grant Kintlzer
Ashley created this tribute to her fiance, Grant Kintzler who is currently stationed in Afghanistan.  First showcased at Nancy's Expo in Madison, the response was overwhelming.  A Vietnam Marine Vet showed me his medal of honor and asked me to pass along a hug for Ashley thanking her for honoring the Marines.  A fellow quilter and wife of a WWII veteran has requested the pattern; she would love to surprise her husband with the quilt.  Yet another quilter told us that her husband is probably sleeping next to Grant under the stars based on the identifying symbols and numbers.  It is not unusual for a customer to tear up when they first see the quilt at the shop.  Many requests for a pattern that can be adapted to honor all our armed forces.  Currently Ashley is busy working on her Masters program but we hope to publish a pattern in the near future.

This pattern from Miss Rosie looks difficult but is really just two blocks:  flying geese and log cabin with a half square center.  We used Kansa Troubles fat quarters to make it especially scrappy.
The "Serenity" Collection
The quilt was created using Lucien's "Century Collection" in the taupe colorway using the "Gemstones" pattern from Atkinson's "Take Two & Add A Few."  The quilt was long arm quilted by QBot and embellished with the same embroidery design, Pfaff's Vintage Medallion, that was used to create the 3D pillow.  For information on the rest of the display please refer to the 'Unique Boutique" collection.Lap Kit:  $95

Stars On Point
The original pattern was half the size and set on neutral background fabric.  Ashley doubled the pattern using two jelly rolls and used a muddy purple fabric for the set-in triangles and border fabric which really showcased the corner squares.  A perfect twin.  Kit available.
I used cherrywood fabrics and the pattern, "French Country," from Crabapple Hill to create this anniversary quilt for my son.  I am the only shop in Wisconsin to stock cherrywood fabrics.  While cherrywood fabrics is available for purchase on-line in collections of four and eight colorwheels in fat quarter, 1/2 and 1 yard cuts, I break the collections apart and make them available in single cuts.  Cherrywood is a hand-dyed fabric to look like suede.  Cherrywood is perfect for applique!
Wisconsin Windmills
All the best of Kansas Troubles fabrics in this sensational scrappy quilt.  Fabric kit including pattern measuring 82" x 96" is $155.  Fabric kti measuring 96" square is $190.
Finally finished Jeff & Jenelle's quilt.  My crowning achievement to date.  Yes, the embroidery is stunning but many customers have made the quilt without embroidery and it is equally beautiful.  If interested in a kit please call me direct and I can calculate the yardage needed.  I would also consider doing the embroidery panels but of course would encourage to purchase the Pfaff embroidery machines because I just love mine.  My quilt used the French General line of fabric only.
